Kroger Neighborhood Rewards Program

Ohio Galaxies FC has partnered with Kroger to offer the Neighborhood Rewards Program for our families.  The Ohio Galaxies FC program offers families the opportunity to earn a 3% credit on OGFC player fees when using an OGFC/Kroger Neighborhood Rewards Gift Card.  Ohio Galaxies families may obtain a Neighborhood Rewards gift card(s) by contacting Greg Frye, at krogerrewards@ohiogalaxies.com details of the program are listed below. 

How do I order an OGFC/Kroger reward card?
OGFC/Kroger Neighborhood Rewards gift cards may be otained by contacting Greg Frye at krogerrewards@ohiogalaxies.com.  Reward cards are preloaded with $1 on the card.  There is no charge for the first 4 OGFC cards per family.  Additional cards may be purchased at $1 each.

When will I receive the OGFC/Kroger rewards card?
Cards will be mailed to the OGFC player's home address within a few days after submitting the request. 

How do I reload the gift card?
Your gift card can be reloaded at the cash register prior to any of your purchases being scanned. This must be done in a separate transaction. Your gift card may also be reloaded at the customer service desk.  The card can be reloaded for any amount up to $250.  Pay for the reloaded card with cash, check or major credit card.

What can be purchased with gift cards?
You can purchase any merchandise in a Kroger store with the exception of services. Services include: Money Orders, Western Union, Lottery Tickets, Stamps, and Ticket Master. Gift cards are now accepted at local Kroger Fuel Centers.

How do I find out the balance on my gift card?
The balance on your card will show at the bottom of your receipt. You may also obtain your balance at the customer service desk or cash register, by calling 866-822-6252 (located on the back of the card) or at www.gcbalance.com

 Does the card expire?
As long as there is a balance on the card, the card will not expire.  If the card carries a balance of $0.00 for more than 60 days, the card will expire and will no longer be valid for reloading.  A new OGFC/Kroger reward card will need to be ordered from OGFC to continue with the Rewards program.

When will Kroger send the reward credits to OGFC?
When OGFC reaches a minimum of $5,000 in reloads in a four-week cycle, Kroger will send a check to OGFC for 4% of the total reloads.  OGFC will in turn record 3% of the credit to each participating player.

When will the Kroger credit be applied to my OGFC player account?
For the 2011-2012 season, Kroger reward credits will be applied to OGFC player accounts in February of 2012 and applied to the final OGFC payment due on March 15, 2012.  Subsequent credits earned will be applied to OGFC player fees for the 2012-2013 season.

What happens to my Kroger rewards credit if an OGFC player discontinues playing with Ohio Galaxies FC?
If a player leaves the club or if the player does not play in the 2011-2012 season, any Kroger credits earned after March 1, 2012 will be absorbed by the club, with no payment to the player.

Can I use the Kroger reward credits to pay for travel expenses?
The Kroger reward credits can only be used toward player fee credits.  The credits cannot be applied to cover any travel expenses for players or families.

What if I have more than one OGFC player?
OGFC will automatically apply Kroger reward credits to the oldest OGFC player in  your family.  If you would like the credits applied to multiple players, please provide the relevent information in an email and send to krogerrewards@ohiogalaxies.com

I have participated in a Kroger rewards program with NWC Alliance or BSA Celtics, can this gift card be switched to OGFC?
NWC Alliance, BSA Celtics and OGFC each maintain separate Kroger reward accounts.  In order to receive credits for an OGFC player account, parents need to obtain and use an OGFC Kroger Reward gift card.
